This fall, I’m directing Sam Giberga’s new play Holy Week with the Mason Gross School of the Arts MFA Playwriting program at Rutgers University.
Mallory Jane Weiss’ short play DRAWBRIDGE, which I directed, has won the Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival. One of 6 winners (out of 850 submissions), it will be published by Concord Theatricals in their Notable Off Off Broadway Plays series.
I’m directing Mallory Jane Weiss’ short play DRAWBRIDGE as part of the 48th Annual Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival. If the play is selected as a finalist, we will have an encore performance on Saturday, August 12th, and if it’s selected as a winner, it will be published by Concord Theatricals in their Notable Off Off Broadway Plays series. I spent the week workshopping Mallory Jane Weiss’ spectacular play BIG BLACK SUNHATS, which was a finalist for Clubbed Thumb’s 2020 Biennial Commission. Our fantastic cast was comprised of Daniel Abeles, Kathleen Chalfant, Seth Clayton, Alma Cuervo, Daniel K. Isaac and Mia Katigbak.
This fall, I’m headed back to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival as the Associate Director of It’s Christmas, Carol!, a new play (with lots of songs!) by Mark Bedard, Brent Hinkley, and John Tufts.
This summer, I joined Gingold Theatrical Group as Director of New Works Development. In this role, I will oversee GTG’s writers group and provide dramaturgical support to playwrights developing work with the company.

This spring, I’m assisting Mark Brokaw on the Broadway premiere of Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive, produced by Manhattan Theatre Club. The production was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
This winter, I’m directing Nadja Leonhard-Hooper’s The Collision and What Came After, or, GUNCH! produced by Two Headed Rep and presented by 59E59. The Collision will run in rep with The Martyrdom of the Holy Virgins Agape, Chionia, and Irena, by Hrotsvitha the Nun of Gandersheim, as told throughout the last millennium by the men, women, scholars, monastics, puppets, and theater companies (like this one) who loved her. Or: DULCITIUS.

This summer, I’ll be participating in the Orchard Project’s Liveness Lab, considering the forms that liveness and community might take in the months or years ahead.
